Milkwood Park Neighbourhood Watch

A neighbourhood watch is an organised group of citizens volunteering their time and resources to prevent crime and vandalism within a neighbourhood.

We all agree SAPS cannot be everywhere and can only address issues once it is brought to their attention as they are spread quite thin on the ground. This is the gap we fill as concerned citizens or the neighbourhood watch. As volunteers, our members are the “eyes and ears” that assist the crime-fighting agencies in our community in bringing about a measure of stability to Milkwood Park by limiting opportunities for criminals to commit crimes. Our members are not expected to intervene in any dangerous situations.

Milkwood Park Neighbourhood Watch is part of a series of watches in the greater Fish Hoek Valley, falling under the Fish Hoek Community Police Forum.
